The "new Morgan" has a different appeal and high resolution than the moving kits released during the Showa and Heisei periods.
It was developed with careful consideration given to how the body sections are divided so that they bend like a caterpillar.
The missile storage section at the tail uses a newly interpreted hatch opening and closing gimmick in order to achieve realism as a combat mecha.
Each part has a movable gimmick:
- The action plastic kit approach has been enhanced to express the realistic range of motion that is characteristic of insects.
- The torso sections have built-in extension joints, allowing for flexible posing that is typical of a caterpillar.
- The body can be bent in a large U-shape left and right and front and back.
- It has a built-in frame that allows the tire to be steered, so the base of the tire can slide up and down. In addition, the eccentric tire structure from the previous kit has been reproduced.
- A ball joint is used at the base of the tire. It is possible for the robot to express emotions like a living creature, such as straining with a V shape or showing fear with an inverted V shape.
Detailed movable gimmick:
- Equipped with movable gimmicks in details such as the cockpit hatch on the head. It is possible to express a variety of things.
- The cowling can be opened and closed by pulling out the head and deploying the 20mm Gatling gun section at the top.
- This opens and closes the cockpit hatch in the head. A 1/100 scale pilot figure (regular soldier) can be placed inside.
- By deploying the missile hatch in the tail, the stored twin surface-to-air missiles are exposed.
- The twin surface-to-air missiles can be rotated and adjusted in elevation at their base.
Display:
- The included display stand allows you to display the figure in dynamic poses reminiscent of scenes from the movie. Removing the bottom cover exposes the holes for connecting the display stand. It is possible to display it in a dynamic pose just like in the movie. *Display stand sold separately.
