Every part reconstructed down to the last detail
Not only has the design of the original kits released in 1987 and 1999 been re-examined based on the design settings in the anime, but the overall silhouette as well as the design and details of each individual part, such as the face, arms, legs, torso and tail, have been updated.
The overall silhouette of the original Death Saurer was not significantly altered, and the aim was to achieve a high level of detail while still following the design as a realistic weapon.
The proportions and styling were modified to lean forward, making it more similar to a dinosaur.
Also, since the main premise was that the tail would be raised, modifications were made to lengthen the legs. Furthermore, the design of the chest hatch and knee cylinders were newly added with the anime design in mind.
The final sketch of the side view was created based on the final sketch of the overall design. 3D data was created based on the sketch, and adjustments were made to the overall design and each part of it.
The flat, seemingly monotonous silhouette has been modified by adding detail to various areas, such as behind the clear parts. In order to express the internal structure of Death Saurer in its base form, the arms have been newly designed. In order to make the armor around the neck, legs, and back fan look more real as a weapon, pipes have been added to each part and small parts such as fins have been made into separate parts. The molding has been deepened in various places to add a greater sense of depth. Modifications have also been made to make the power switch smaller. The design has been removed from the tail armor. The fin-shaped parts for exhaust heat and the weapon cover as well as the lower part feature a new interpretation of design details that take into account the heat exhaust from the charged particle cannon.
Pursuit of realism in movement, dynamism, and a sense of vitality
From the beginning of development, the focus was on recreating the smooth bipedal walking action of a robot with a stable center of gravity, while still giving it a sense of weight. Furthermore, the goal was not just to express the external movements of the neck, arms, and legs, but also the movement of the internal structure of the machine, in other words, to express the sense of life that it exudes as a living organism.
Zoids pursue realism as metallic life forms, and internal movements are verified from the earliest stages.
Many aspects are incorporated that make the Death Saurer look and feel realistic in its action, such as the rotating mechanism of the circular parts at the base of the arms and legs, and the sliding parts inside the torso.

The mechanism for rotating the circular parts at the base of the arms and legs, and the sliding parts inside the torso, are incorporated throughout to make the Death Saurer look and feel realistic in action.
Driven by a motor, it walks realistically as if it were alive, and in tandem, the entire body moves from head to tail. The neck and head lean forward, mimicking the firing sequence of a charged particle cannon.
The charged particle cannons in the eyes and mouth light up. The armor parts at the back of the neck expand and contract, and also emit light from within. The Zoid core in the chest emits light. The left and right arms move up and down. The forced charged particle intake fan rotates and emits light. The tail moves from side to side. The cylinders in each part extend and retract in conjunction with walking. Pursuing the movement and realism of a metal life form.
By switching the power switch to display mode, you can enjoy just the LED lighting of the Zoid Core and the Charged Particle Intake Fan.

Each weapon, such as the AEZ 20mm beam gun and small-caliber ground laser machine gun, as well as each armor part, are movable. By equipping it with many moving parts, it creates a mechanical highlight.

Reexamination of the old kit and the settings in the anime
The unit's settings and design from the TV anime have also been re-examined.
Includes replacement parts for the armored "Charged Particle Converter" from the Guardian Force arc, as well as a same-scale figure of Imperial Field Marshal "Gunther Prozen" The faithful reproduction of the scenes from the anime is also an added element of the product's appeal.
Charged particle forced intake fan: A device that rotates at high speed to suck in charged particles in the air and supply energy to the synchrotron generator when firing the charged particle cannon.
Charged particle converter: In the anime, the Death Saurer's Zoid core fused with the Death Stinger's Zoid core, strengthening its armor and recreating the evolved charged particle converter with a charged particle forced intake fan on the back.
Chest Zoid Core Hatch: Recreates the chest hatch depicted in the scene in the anime where the Death Saurer's Zoid core fused with the Zoid core that separated from the Death Stinger and returned to the main body of the Death Saurer.
Leg Cylinder: Reproduces the Death Saurer's leg cylinder as depicted in the anime.
Gunther Prozen 1/72 Scale Figure: A figure of Gunther Prozen that can sit in the Death Saurer's head and abdominal cockpits. Also included is a standing figure that can be displayed side by side. Also included are two regular soldier figures of the same scale that can sit in the head and abdominal cockpits.
